Its mission is to inspire their community to increase the quantity and the quality of charitable planned gifts to nonprofit organizations. Northwest Planned Giving Roundtable

Founded in 1986, the Northwest Planned Giving Roundtable is a membership organization dedicated to increasing the quality and quantity of planned gifts in Oregon and Southwest Washington. We provide educational outreach to the charitable gift planning community and the donors it serves. The annual fall conference is directly related to its educational purposes. The meeting and conference topics span the educational needs of the beginner and the seasoned professional.

Philadelphia Planned Giving Day

A Complex Gift Case Study

We will discuss a life income gift that was funded by a generous couple with family, financial, and philanthropic objectives. Issues include gifts of real estate, as well as self-dealing and UBTI in the context of a charitable remainder trust. Slowly, we will reveal the facts of the case and discuss the problems that needed to be (and were successfully) resolved by our client. Developing a deeper understanding of complex assets can lead to significant gifts and expanded relationships with your key donors.
